Together they walk down the quiet city street, hand in hand. She looks up into his eyes and sees her comfort and security resting in them. He looks down into hers to find the depths of her heart. As they stroll down the street, they enjoy each other's presence; every word, an important event in time, every touch a timless memory - every moment of it, unforgetable. The clouds roll in and thunder and lightning fill the sky ; The volume, incredible. The sight, amazing. They make a run for the nearest overhang at a drugstore down the road. Holding one another's hands and dashing through the giant rain drops together, they feel a sense of closeness, unity. Under the overhang, soaked and wet, he holds her close, enveloping her with his warmth. She whispers, "I love you." At that, he pulled away, looked into her eyes and asked, "Would you spend every thunderstorm with me?" Slightly confused by his response, she replied, "Of course babe." He searched even deeper in her eyes. He then smiled for he found what he was looking for, her answer to his next question. He got down on his knees and with all that he was, he asked, "Would you spend everyday of the rest of your life with me?" She looked down into his eyes and in them she saw the rest of her life; the memories they would make together, the joy, the pain, and the love. She saw his heart, and in it she saw herself. "Yes!" she cried, "with all my heart, mind, body and soul!" He stood and scooped her up into his arms. They spun out into the rain, drops falling all around them. He lowered her to the street as she giggled with pure excitement. He once again looked down into her eyes, "I love you."
